This is why humanity is hopeless.

I?
Is that all I care about?
My decisions are all based on one thing,
Me.

Maybe "I"
Is the source of so many
Problems
For so many people

Maybe if we
stopped caring about ourselves
and cared more for others
Our problems would find themselves
FIXED

No.
Why you ask?
Because "I" again.
I took I, and made it us, and then made it
You.

Insignificance and Black Holes

She sits quiet and still
Staring out a window towards a sea of grey
Eyes glaze over as she looks beyond,
Into whatever her mind can tell her.
And Wonders..
Billions and stars
Colossal galaxies (One of which she resided in)
One small planet in a meagerly sized galaxy
One small person in that planet
Would anyone care if she died?
Could anyone care if she died?
Should anyone care if she died?
What is one in six billion?
One tiny person
Mathematically, a fraction that wouldn't matter if it were taken out of the picture.
She should die
It would cause no pain
No grief to a number of people
No one would care..
No one that is but me
One tiny person
On one planet in one galaxy surrounded by millions more
And the fact that I would give up all of the galaxies in the universe but ours
Just to save you
The fact that to see you smile I would condemn millions of stars to death
Stripped of their beauty by being sucked up into nothing by Black Holes
All the glory the universe had to offer hidden away..
Just to see you smile when you looked at me
It may seem a bit selfish
Selfish when honestly, can I afford to be?
I'm no galaxy
I don't even compare to a star, let alone a planet.
I'm just one person..
Why not...

(This is not poetry by any means I think.  Just thoughts, or thoughts of what thoughts would be like...yes)
