Her head was distant
Eyes glazed
The words springing from her lips
Were not hers at all
Helpless she watched
Helpless she rambled on
Nothing could be done
People died
Because of this you know
Wars started
Countless lives ruined
Ruined because she couldn't
Because they couldn't
Because you couldn't
She really wasn't a killer
Just a witness
Too timid to do something
And she watched
Her words made them crumble
Fold in on themselves
They shattered
But she could do nothing
Her lips did all the talking
